Privacy notice
What this website collects, why, and what you can do about it.
The identity of the data controller, the legal entity name, registered address and any data protection contact must be supplied before publication. These are legally required and are deliberately not invented here.
What this site collects
This website collects personal data only where you actively submit it. There is no account system, and you are not required to identify yourself in order to read anything here.
Forms you choose to submit
Each form collects only the fields shown on it. Depending on the form, that may include your name, e-mail address, organisation, role, country and the message you write. This data is stored so that your enquiry can be answered, and is sent to Luis by e-mail.
The newsletter
If you subscribe to The Executive AI Brief, your e-mail address (and name, if you give one) is stored for the purpose of sending that newsletter. It is not used for anything else, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
The AI Readiness Assessment
The assessment runs entirely in your browser. Your individual answers are never transmitted. If — and only if — you choose to request the written report, your dimension scores, overall score and maturity level are sent along with the contact details you enter. Your individual answers are still not sent.
Anonymous messages
The Ask Luis form does not ask for your name, an account or a phone number. If you request a private reply and supply an e-mail address, that address is stored with your message so that you can be answered — which means the message is no longer fully anonymous to the system. We say that plainly rather than claiming the form is untraceable, which would not be true of anything on the open internet.
The content of anonymous messages is never sent to analytics. A message is published only where you have explicitly given permission, and never with any identifying detail.
Technical and security data
Limited technical information may be processed temporarily to protect the forms against spam and abuse — for example rate limiting. This is a legitimate interest in keeping the site usable, and such data is not used to build a profile of you.
Local storage in your browser
If you switch the colour theme, that preference is stored in your own browser. It never leaves your device and is not readable by this site’s operators.
Legal basis
Enquiry forms are processed on the basis of your request and the steps taken to respond to it. The newsletter and any optional marketing are processed on the basis of your consent, which you may withdraw at any time. Spam protection is processed on the basis of legitimate interests.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access the personal data held about you, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.
The e-mail address or postal address at which data subject rights requests should be made, and the relevant supervisory authority, must be confirmed and added here.
Retention
Specific retention periods for enquiries, newsletter subscriptions, assessment leads and anonymous messages must be decided and stated. Placeholder periods are not published.
Sharing and third parties
Your data is not sold. It may be processed by the providers used to host this website, deliver e-mail and, if enabled, measure aggregate site usage.
The list of processors actually in use — hosting, e-mail delivery, newsletter platform and analytics — must be confirmed against the live configuration and listed here.
Analytics
Where analytics are enabled, they are configured to record actions rather than content. Message text, e-mail addresses, contact form values and assessment answers are never sent to analytics.
Embedded content
Pages may link to or embed video hosted elsewhere. Where content is embedded from a third party, that provider may process data according to its own policy. No third-party video is embedded on this site until an approved URL is configured.
Changes
This notice will be updated when the site’s processing changes. The date of the current version is shown by the CMS on this page.
